            Hello 👋 Hi I recently migrated from esa support group to universal credit,I did 5hours per week permitted work and earn 250.00 also my new universal credit award is 1,035 just been landed with a council tax bill for 500.00as I didn't pay on ESA I presumed migrating over things were the same can anyone shed any information please

            Council Tax Reduction is decided on at a local level, with each local authority having different rules. Some areas do treat UC differently to legacy benefits and some people have seen an increase in the amount of CT they have to pay. As each area has different rules for this, it's very hard to advise on individual cases from here. 0
