It is a very stressful process, and I sympathise.

Do you have a support network?

I was awarded PIP last year and honestly the extra money has improved my life so much.

Hi @cook66 and a warm welcome to the community from me!

The PIP can be a very stress process so it's understandable why you would want to cancel but if you do cancel and want to reclaim in the future, you will have to complete the form again and start the process again.

If you still want to cancel your PIP assessment, then you can do it by calling the assessment provider using the number on your appointment letter to inform them you cannot attend😊

Hi the process can be extremely stressful daunting and negatively impact our level of anxiety.

My advise is if you believe you meet the descriptors to qualify don't give up.

I recently had a paper based assessments and I had letter today awarding me enhanced rates for ten years and that takes me past state retirement age.

The money makes a huge difference for me.

The process took five months and I am so relieved with the out outcome.
