Seeking employment ... yet again!
So last week I started yet another new job and this week I've had to quit due to my Line Manager being unhelpful and the environment being too noisy and not able to cope with due to deafness, tinnitus and hyperacusis. So my day will be full of looking online for yet another place of employment oh happy days! 😂

Yes I'm okay thanks @Kookee just sad and frustrated it was a disability confident employer and two other people in the office had hearing loss but as per usual no one understood my needs. Just had to pick myself up dust myself down and accept this is never going to change.

Not many people know about hyperacusis, but it's very serious condition that can turn someone's life into hell. I got something very close to it for 4 years and my life became a nightmare. I got tinnitus.
Hyperacusis is when everyday sounds seem much louder to you than they should. This condition is much more than sensitivity to noise.
So sorry, I haven't addressed your enquiry.
