Inheritance and universal credit
Hi. I'm new 👋
I'm on universal credit and pip. I'm recieving an inheritance, probably in a couple of years, off my father. I understand universal credit will be stopped as it will be over the threshold for savings, but pip will remain unaffected. My query is, if I use my inheritance to buy a home, and it instantly puts me back under the threshold for universal credit, will my payments just carry on unaffected? I'm talking about funds being in my account less than 24hoirs before it is used for the purpose. Thanks you for any advice in advance 🙂

Ideally the money would pass in & out of your account during the same assessment period.
And be out of your account by the last day of the AP.
In those circumstances your UC payment should carry on without any change or interruption.
