Hi the CAB have done me a online benefit calculation , it turns out I'm going to be worse off by about £125.00 a week worse off I'm in the support group on ESA and also get SDP, this is making my anxiety and heath problems worse how can this be, I'm waiting for a call from DWP/UC to confirm my identity has I only have a passport

Your Universal Credit award is based on your joint circumstances as a couple, and your partners pension deduction will be a big factor in your calculation.

Their pension counts as unearned income and so is deducted in full pound for pound.

Perhaps you could ask for a second calculation, to see if it comes out the same.
