Hi, I've recently moved over from esa support group to universal credit, I received a message within my journal tell me that £427 would be added to my universal credit payment's? My GP gave me a 3mth fit note when I moved over to UC in September 2025, do I still need to provide another fit note when it expires in November, thankyou

    Hi,

    You shouldn't have included a fit note at all when migrating from ESA Support Group. That can confuse the system and put you into a 'health journey' where you'd be expected to complete another assessment. (Unfortunately it's an automatic request, not your fault).

    There was never any need to provide a fit note, so there's still no need to provide another one. But do make sure that LCWRA is showing on your next statement.
