If found to have LCWRA from a previous LCW award, you are eligible for backpay if both the below apply:
The claimant triggered the review by reporting a change in health
The claimant submitted continous Fit Notes up until the decision.
Without those things, LCWRA element would first apply in the Assessment Period in which the decision was made.

they sent me a reassessment application to b filled in by may 29th 2024 I sent that off but in August I was asked to make a change on health on my journal by my work coach she also told me I didn't need to send in sick notes as I was already on lcw I've spoken to dwp and they've told me I'm bein backdated from the August which was when I put the health thing in but they sent a letter themselves about reassessment so y wouldn't I be backdated from may

As the DWP initiated the reassessment then no backpay would be due from May.
I advise on the rules as they are and that is the way they have designed the system.
Personally I wouldn't ask the DWP for benefit advice as they administer claims as opposed to actually knowing the ins and outs of the system well.
I'd always go to a trained welfare rights advisor.

so there correct when they say I'm due backpay from August and wat happens now because I sent in 6 months worth of sick notes and then my work coach advised me that I didn't need to anymore?

Your work coach was right from one respect- because of an existing LCW award Fit Notes are not required to progress the reassessment.
Fit Notes are important only for backpay when going from LCW to LCWRA.
I'd suggest you speak to a trained benefits advisor.
