Hip replacement with rrMS

I am a bit concerned about my up and coming hip replacement surgery. I have had MS for 25 years and take no big pharma drugs and eat the healthiest food…. this has kept me relatively relapse free, till now. I add in meditation, exercise and as much laughter as possible…. and I seem to be doing well.
So now the arthritis… is painful and I’m having a hip replacement in December…..
I’m concerned it will trigger a relapse or exacerbate my symptoms….
There is an option called Plasma Replacement and I’m wondering weather to have this, instead?
I’m confused and alittle worried….
If anyone on the site has experience of hip surgery, I’d love to hear from you.
