Im wondering how long it take for decision. The hcp dr ask about work that was 20plus yrs ago. How far bus stop I said idk 10min on a good day I have many back issues from 2000 diagnosis. She only ask about back despite have many other problems. She said she didn't want to ask me to do physical only the finger touch and toes wiggle. I have enormous problems walking i said on arrival I was scared and stressed as I was dumped by a cab and I lost. No one helped me i found the place finally luckily. I was uncomfortable in the chair and she said she had enough info on muscular skeletal and didn't need info on other problems. I have no idea if I will be recommended for what group. I hope lwrca but I dont know. Can anyone reassure me im terrified with it all.

If the assesor feels you meet a descriptor for either LCW or LCWRA then there is no point continuing the assessment and covering other problems, as it would be a waste of everyone's time.

There are no official timescales for a decision, some people hear within days, for others it's weeks or a couple of months.

Hopefully you hear something soon 😊

Hi @mattkim. I hope you are awarded and find out soon. I'm sorry you were dumped by the taxi and got lost, that's awful. You did really well to find it and still go through the assessment. Please try not to worry, the difficult part is over now.

Thank you. I dont understand it all. I hope i not wait ages im a very anxious person normally so waiting makes things so worrying. She was nice lady but I hope I get the correct group. Work for me would be impossible my back is a major issue but I have chronic migrane syndrome which is debilitating I was stress as she said she had enough. Thank you both for replying much appreciated 🙏🏽

hi, have you heard back a decision yet? I have chronic migraines too severely debilitating where it’s rare I’ll be able to move, at max I get out once a week for max a 10min walk and that triggers them to the be a 10/10 pain. I have to force myself to work at max once a week if I can when pain is minimal as UC doesn’t even cover rent. Would be at least a little reassuring to hear what your outcome was if you want to share- if not no worries at all!
