I'm lounging in my (king-size, wrought iron, four-poster) bed with canopy (and lights). There's only one of them, it was made for me by a friend. It's very ornate in an industrial way. He's a biker. He just thought it was me being weird when I put the black lace canopy over the posts (it isn't designed to have one). It slightly upsets him that I've also put a pink one on top of that, but I think it's funny and they're my favourite colours. His deranged homophobia has been a running joke between us since we went to school together. I'm not gay and he does no harm, I'm just indifferent to it. Live your own life etc...

I plan to remain here all day.

One of the cats here is sleeping on top of me, the other is just beside her.

With remote controls I have access to all sorts of interesting electricals here. I can easily find any film/TV/music etc ever made if I fancy. Won't cost me a penny.

To my right there's a microwave and an air fryer on top of my drinks fridge. For this evening I've a range of entertaining things to drink, I'm not planning to eat but I only eat every other day and I can if I choose to.

In less than a couple of months the North (and it's roads!) will have warmed up considerably and I look forward to taking my Jaaag out. Because it has such a low roof, it's been very complicated finding a wheelchair which will fit into Her door! But She's worth it and I'm very confident I now have one.

For today it's cold and obril outside.

The (14) lava lamps in this room just turned on and it's now dark enough I've turned all the other lights here on too. It's like a 90s disco in here, which also entertains me.

To my left (and in my hand!) I have a computer and a phone with which I plan to take over the world. It won't be a struggle. I don't believe in wasting energy. But someday I know for sure that all the stuff that's going on will probably improve.

Right now, there's literally nothing more I'd ask for. In a sense, this is my Nirvana. And that's nice.
