Mental health,
Hi after advice returned to work after 3 month MH sick leave. Had 2 bouts of poor mh previous to this in same year.
Day 2 phase return and struggling , throw in being told capability meeting is being planned. Now I feel like I've been set back weeks with how I feel.
Should I get another fit note saying returned to soon and look at leaving, benefits available to give me a break and concentrate on my recovery ? Therapy starting soon.
Advice if anyone else been in similar position please

I can really relate to this @grandmaof2 as I went through something very similar myself. It's a tough decision but you need to think of your own wellbeing first and foremost. If you need some more time, take it and then when you're feeling a bit better, maybe see if you can adjust your return to spread it out a little more. Are work being supportive and do you feel you can open up about how you're feeling with someone there?

They have been ,its the capability meeting that's thrown me. Felt really well till I went back.

Yeah, I totally get that - it's bound to make you feel anxious. Can you raise it with them Monday and just let them know how you're feeling. They might be able to put something in place to make it a little less overwhelming for you.

They already know , as I was in tears. Think it going to be a case of can I face it or not .
Might feel different monday .
Thank you for your reply.

That's fair enough - your health is the priority. I hope you're able to pop it to the back of your mind somewhat and have a nice weekend.
