Hi my name is Sue. i currently work for nhs in cardiology. i am now 64 years this year, and starting to struggle with my health and its affecting me in the work place. they have me travelling all over even though i dont drive which is taking it out of me. i have tried to apply for other jobs. But i think mt age is against me. i cant retire as i dont have a nhs pension. Any advice would be appreciated

    It's Universal Credit (means tested), New Style ESA & PIP that you should look into.

    You can claim all simultaneously, New Style ESA would be deducted from Universal Credit.

    UC is the benefit where the LCWRA element is being reduced from April.

    I'd recommend talking to both ACAS (if you aren't in a union) and a local welfare rights organisation.
