Why am I not in a group ?
hi
Can anybody advise me why I’m not in a group for the new style esa ? I was awarded it in May and I’ve read that after 13 weeks you are placed in one of 2 groups and you payments go up according to which group you are put in . I filled in an WCA50 form in May but have heard nothing back to date date and my GP filled a form in too which was also returned in May . I’m still in the initial assessment rate . I rang them and they confirmed the forms were received but gave me no further information.
I’m stuck not knowing what group I’ll be in and the extra money is needed just to get by.
Any advice?

Unfortunately almost nobody gets assessed and has an outcome within 13 weeks.
You could enquire with the assessment provider (if you haven't already) about the likely wait time.
The assessment provider also should have a complaints process on their website.
You could also contact your MP.
