Universal Credit Statement Not Showing

Hello,

My Universal Credit Statement is not showing on my account it always says it will be ready on the 3rd of the month but always shows on the 1st of the month even if the 1st is a weekend. I phoned this morning and the call handler said there was nothing on the system to say my payment had been delayed but it's still worrying me has this ever happened to anyone else. Thank You

Although your statement is normally available now, there isn't any reason to expect at this point that it won't be available on the due date.

If it doesn't arrive, you can get UC to look into it.

It won't be considered late until the 4th, even though you've always had it on the 1st.

If it isn't there Wednesday morning, call the helpline again or leave a message on your Journal (using the payment option).

Yes, I had statement problems recently due to an error made by my claim reviewer.

Between the helpline & Journal it was sorted out.

I first left a Journal message as soon as it was late, then called the helpline after waiting 24 hours for a response.

Thank you for replying I have been reading some people online saying no statement no payment so I phoned back and another call handler said that's because they might have outstanding things in their to do list I haven't so he said my payment will be going through everything is up to date on my account. I suffer with anxiety and don't like it when things don't happen the way they usually do.

No statement does mean no payment.

While I appreciate you've always had it on the 1st, do remember it's not officially due until the 3rd.

In my 4 years on UC, once or twice my statement hasn't been early (26th)but there on the due date (28th) and I was paid as normal.

This month my payment was blocked due to an error by my claim reviewer.

I have spoken to a call handler and he said there is no reason on my account for no payment he said this might happen if you have say outstanding to dos there is nothing and both call handlers have said I should get my payment.

I get so anxious with conflicting opinions online when they don't actually say what they mean.

I googled it and it said DWP are having issues processing UC statements because of a glitch in HMRC back end system you don't have to deal with HMRC to be affected it affects all the systems apparently

The only time I never had a statement was when my payments were suspended. However it is possible I have had a statement that might have been late before as I dont regularly check it. Given you have been told everything is ok, hopefully it means there is no issue and just the statement is delayed.

Many people on other forums are saying the same thing and having the same issues. There is a technical fault on DWP end for statement for 1st to 3rd which is mine. It won't affect payments it's being fixed at the moment.
