PIP preview decision, three working days

Question

DWP received my PIP review form last Friday by  recorded delivery and I received a text at 8am this morning to say they’ve made a decision… I’ve got to wait to see what it is in the post, but it’s obviously not been carefully considered!

Has anybody ever known such a quick decision?

i’m gonna wait and see what their arguments are, but it’s quite a clever thing to do because there’s a big part of me going  Don’t bother, it’s not worth the trouble!

The problem is, I’m saying gonna have to start paying for a little bit of care every day that I work to help me dress to get to work so well, I might be able to manage that finance for a while longer term, when I’m not able to work anymore, that would be very difficult and every little will help

I bet the quick review has been nice though @elaneh? Do you think you'll appeal for a higher award?

Yes, thanks for looking on this forum. I realised that service existed and looked last night, and they have given me an indefinite award at the rate I currently get . However, I really should be getting the higher rate of care and the standard rate of my ability, not standard for both.

It seems that as I am near pension age, they thought they would just leave me with what I have.
