Hi All
Does anyone know at what point a child is moved from fixed to hinged AFOs?
I am wondering whether hinged AFOs might improve Lily's walking pattern but I've never ever saw a child in them, and am starting to wonder if they're something that the Physios and Orthotists are not keen on round here...

My daughter is 11 and has SD CP she is a "walker" she has been in Fixed AFO's since age of 2 I have wondered about the hinged ones because she walks beter without her Afo's but they do support her ankles. I don't know about you but we can never get a straight answer and they just keep giving her the same ****. She hates them.
