I’m Michelle, and I’m a Pre-Employment Advisor
I’m Michelle, and I’m a Pre-Employment Advisor at Scope’s Kent Employment Service.
I truly believe in what I do. As a disabled person, I have been in similar situations to the customers that we are supporting. I can see from their perspective how hard it is to find suitable employment. It may be harder and may take longer, but I fully believe that everyone can contribute to society given a chance, regardless of disability health condition or learning difficultly. The job satisfaction of getting a customer a Job and sustaining that employment is life changing and so rewarding for both me and the customer.
I’ll try my best to answer any questions you have!

My friend's son is waiting for his A level results before university. He has hemiplegic CP, and is good at sport. But he gets anxious. He wanted to know what he should do if his results don't get him into his choice university. What would you advise, in terms of hoping for the best, but planning for the worst? Many thanks ,jcd0
