Please check out our campaign page: http://bit.ly/1UaBNjD and support our project if you can!
We created UMOJA (www.umoja.in) to provide disabled people and their families, the detailed and dependable info they need to travel with confidence. We've tested out the app & website and gotten great feedback, so we know we're on to something truly useful! The problem is hotels are initially hesitant to use our app themselves because they feel accessibility is a complex subject that's full of risk and they won't see a return.
NONSENSE!
We're launching a crowdfunding campaign for #AccessFestUK, an initiative that will create truly useful accessibility guides to great UK festivals destinations, covering not only accessible places to stay, but where to grab a bite and how to get around as well. We need your help to go to these destinations, gather all this information, and then tell the world about it.
Our goal is to get 1,000 disabled people to use our guides and visit these festival destinations next summer, showing hotels that addressing accessibility is not only the right thing to do ethically, but the smart thing to do financially.
PLEASE share our campaign on FACEBOOK (http://on.fb.me/1MNGnE8) or TWITTER (http://bit.ly/1KkwjSy), every share and every pound helps!
We really appreciate your support!! THANK YOU!
