Hi everyone, I'm usually a bubbly person but at the moment I'm stressed with whats going on around us. DLA to PIP. I had an indefinite DLA award 1994 High Mobility and Low care and now to be honest everythings got worse, I struggle to make food, amongst other things.

Hi @TriciaB, welcome to the community. Sorry to hear you're having troubles, and I'm sure many here will empathise with your situation. If you need any specific advice relating to benefits, do consider posting a query in our new 'Ask a benefits advisor' section.

Hi @TriciaB,
Have you been invited to claim PIP yet?
If not then you still have time to find out more about PIP and prepare for when the time comes. It's easy to get drawn into all the negative stories about the difficulties people have moving from DLA to PIP, and this leads to added anxiety.
Let me know what stage you're at and I will help guide you along.
Best wishes
