SCOPE mentioned in 2 news bulletin today 30.10 2016.
RE Employment Act proposals for restructuring payments to keep the allowances going whilst people are looking for work so will not be disadvantaged in the utterly unbelievable tomes needed to be completed in endless pages of questions and demands for proof etc etc. of inability to work.
Not to mention the absurdity of the strict criteria needed at "assessments" to find out if a person is "malingering " or really physically incapacitated..questions which usually do not relate to the disability /impairment which prevents employment in any case.
Urge as many as can, go and see Ken Loach new film..."I, DANIEL BLAKE. ( it will not be and easy film to watch ( nor was Cathy Come Home) but its impact was significant in some ways....it can be hoped this specific target which Loach so fearlessly buts the "system"head on is as effective...well there has to be some hope!
The film hopefully will highlight to those who think as many do...."there are too many ...putting it on and claiming benefits they do not need"...if only.
Glad to hear SCOPE named in the bulletins.
