Bathing and cleaning with CP - advice needed

Hi my son is 27 he had mild cerspal palsy so he can get about on his own normal life and have good friends he is going to be a best man on 5th june 2017and he will never clean his teeth or get in shower or bath but will go in a swimming pool just dont know what to do

Hi @charlotte18 welcome to the community, thanks for sharing about your son.
Does he give you a reason that he doesnt want to shower or bathe? There is some information here about bathing and washing that might help.
If he will go to the swimming pool, will he shower there? Perhaps before he gets in, he could be encouraged to shower as part of the routine and rules around swimming?
Can he physically brush his own teeth? Is it a physical problem or an issue that he doesnt want to brush them? Does he see a dentist? You could get support from them.Scope
