Autism in Essex

Hi, i am a mum to a 27year old who has autism ( newly diagnosed), He has social anxiety but would like to meet people but in a very small group, as he is extremely shy, but very lonely, does anyone know of anywhere this may happen please, we live in Essex. Thank you
