Who do you ask for help?

Hi, how does one get help at short notice for little jobs, eg run out of few essentials, milk, sugar. Or help putting mobility scooter in the car, please? There's only so many times you can beg a neighbour, before they start ignoring your messages. I don't blame them, but it's awful when it spoils the friendship too xxx
