Hello and welcome
Please can you tell us a little more about yourself and the help you need ?
What stage are you at with your claims ?
Claiming PIP when nearing state retirement age is critical, especially if you have mobility problems. Whether this is your first claim, DLA to PIP or PIP renewal, be aware that whatever award you receive will be the one you carry forward, mobility awards cannot be increased after retirement age even if your needs do

Hi thanks for the reply I suffer from venus insufficiency and leg ulcers
Mobility being my biggest problem
I have had to finish my work as I find stairs difficult. The claim process seams very long winded as you say I am time limited on this
Still hope is eternal. From my reading esa will not put me in the looking for work group due to my age is this right

ESA are a law unto themselves, the process is longwinded as you say. If you have only just started your claim then you could be retired before assessment
Where are you with your PIP claim ?
Mobility seems to be a big issue with the DWP when claiming PIP ,they don't like to give enhanced rate and especially try not to when a claimant is transitioning to retirement age.
Please let us know if we can help in any way

Great things don't happen with DWP, but you should expect to get the award that you deserve.
Have you taken a self assessment test ?
There is one ao the B&W site, link to it on here somwhere

Yes I have taken the two tests esa/pip both give enhanced results. I have just done my pip face to face.

That is good, I hope your f2f went well. There are many good assessors but these are seldom heard of on the forums
Please let us know how you get on or if you need any help
