Hi @blackcockapoo7,
Here's a website I found with more information on Supported Holidays, hope it helps!

Last weekend I tried staying in a hotel alone. Despite them saying it was disability suitable that really only applied to a wheelchair user and someone with them. It was certainly difficult using a scooter and on my own. I suppose that whoever assesses these places uses a stereotype of what a disabled person is and what they can do.

The Bond Hotel in Blackpool is pretty good, we saw a few people who had gone on holiday on their own - and the hotel carers helped them out as needed

Unfortunately @Blue Frog Blackpool is beyond my range. The supported holidays link looks like it is for solo or 'with carer' stays. Not really answering the original question. I have seen an advert for travel companions but unfortunately I cannot remember who it was.

Is this Holiday Companion Service more of the kind of service you were thinking of, @Topkitten?
If so, it might be more useful for @blackcockapoo7 too!0
