My mum slipped on ice and broke her hip at 48, due to her age the medics put screws in her leg which didnt work, she became house bound after 6 months the screws dislodged rubbed at her pelvic and her bone she now has 1 leg 3 inches shorter than the other. she has knee pain spinal pain, the lot she is on the strongerst meds, shes lost her freedom she screams out in pain just trying to get around her living room. silly jobcenter harrasing her to find a job, top medics written to them saying she is severally disabled and in excrusiating pain. job center stops her money if she cant get there, i think she has gone above and beyond for them fools, next bailiffs at door cause counil tax ant been paid due to job center stopping her money. court letters threatening eviction, mum so low its unbearable. and no one to help trust me iv tried everything. social care 8 weeks wait 3rd opperation who knows when and all the time she is suffering, where can i go to help us xx

Hi @laurapaterson,
I've replied to the email you sent us at the helpline and I've offered your Mum a telephone appointment in tomorrow's benefits clinic.
I hope to hear back from you soon and confirmation if Mum is able to take the appointment.
Best wishes
