Hi Im new here, been reading discussions for a while now. I had my pip face to face just over a week ago. Any ideas how many weeks I will be waiting for decision ? Also I wondered if I am entitled to employment support allowance. Husband is in full time work and I dont know if that will make a difference. Many thanks in advance for any advise.

PIP decisions usually take 2-4 weeks. It is a good idea to ring the DWP and ask for a copy of the assessment report (PA4) this will give you an indicaton of what your score might be and how the assessment went

Hi mine is with the assesor they had it on friday when can you ask gor a copy of report pleasez0

You can usually ask for a copy of the report 3 days after the assessment, and pip decision usually takes up to 4 weeks but sometimes longer..... @lulubella .. Yes you can claim ESA as long as you meet the criteria.... It doesn't matter if your husband works0

I phoned DWP for a copy of my PIP report the day after my assessment and received it 10 days later. My DWP decision letter arrived a few days after that - but times can vary.0

It's never pleasant going for a medical, having to explain yourself to people who don't know any better..... But good luck with it, hope all goes well.... Keep us posted0
