I recently booked a short break to Edinburgh for us only to find that we are unable to take his scooter on the coach, I must add that it's a fold up not a boot scooter. The company I used gave a valid reason but when I asked for specific drop off info for an excursion was informed that they didn't know

Hi Paula, welcome!
I’m a new member and just saw your message.
Hope you are both doing okay today and let’s hope everyone is able to take in some autumnal fresh air. I know that kinda thing really helps me in my daily battles.

Hello @paula7665 and welcome to the community.

Not sure if it is any help for you but you can hire a mobility scooter while there: http://www.mobilityequipmenthiredirect.com/mobility-equipment-hire/c1018-mobility-scooter-hire-in-edinburgh-scotland/
