Hi. I have just been for a pip assessment. How long should i expect to wait to hear about a decision. My sister in law came with me to my assessment as she is my carer. If i am successful inmy claim do i pay her for my care out of my pip payment. I havent claimed benefits before. Thank you for your help

Hello and welcome
PIp decisions usually take 2-4 weeks
You should ring the DWP for a copy of the assessment report
If your claim is successful it is yours to do what you want with it.
If you are awarded the daily living component your SiL might be able to claim carers allowance if she meets the criteria
