Braille menus

Over on twitter, Kika, the account for BlindDad's guide dog shared a picture of a braille menu in a restaurant.
They were thrilled to have an accessible menu, but some of the responses were not so happy, one twitter user said that it was a waste of money for something so few people would use and others felt this was an ableist statement.
What do you think? Do you welcome braille menus and more accessibility for all or do we need to weigh up cost and usage?
