Hi there
Apologies if this has been asked before, only just joined this site.
I'm currently receiving ESA in the support group, but would like to try & get back into employment.
Does anyone know how this would affect my claim, & my rent/council tax etc. The job being offered is for 12.5 hours a week.
Any advice greatly appreciated. Many thanks

Hi Caz and welcome
There is a provision for permitted work up to 16 hours pw/ £120 pw with permission.
However do you receive contribution and /or income related ESA?
Does the work you want to do contradict the reasons for your ESA?
For example, delivering leaflets and claiming mobility issues might give rise to concern
