    I'm sorry to hear you are in such a difficult situation @chan - do you claim any benefits?

    Do you want to tell us a bit more information so we can see if we can help?

    Hi @chan, it sounds like things are really tough for you right now and I'm so sorry you're in this situation.

    If you're needing more immediate help with this issue, I think it might be worth contacting Scope's helpline to see if the team can assist you. You can contact them on 0808 800 300 or email them at helpline@scope.org.uk. What do you think?

    There is a PIP self test here to see if you could be eligible for PIP.

    You can apply for Attendance Allowance after age 65.  See if there's f2f help locally. Scope Helpline might know about local advice.  Also Shelter Helpline might be able to advise and/or Age UK Helpline.

    What do you mean by this comment please.
    What are you saying retired people get ?
    And do you mean 65 years?

    If you do not have a PIP award at retirement age you cannot apply for one. The  benefit that can be applied for in this case is Attendance allowance

    CR

    @chan

    As I said above:

    'See if there's f2f help locally. Scope Helpline might know about local advice.  Also Shelter Helpline might be able to advise and/or Age UK Helpline.'

    Why don't you get any housing benefit until March?
