hi all all is well at the moment but I have a feeling of impending doom lurking . I had a esa face to face reassessment three days before Christmas ( nice Christmas present ah ) and I think that it may of gone well as I have a very strong case however I have not had any correspondence regarding the assessment and I’m still receiving the usual payments every two weeks I have had plenty of assessments previously and have always heard back within 6 weeks it well into the seventh week now and not heard anything does anyone recommend contacting them or is it best to let sleeping dogs lay many thanks

Hi @rich_hobbs_1
It could be that they are a little backed up after christmas? It might be worth giving them a call?Scope

Hi rich_hobbs_1,
DWP generally only have skeleton staff over Christmas so it's likely that's the reason for the delay.
There's no harm in calling them, they'll know there's an outstanding decision to be made and I'm sure you'll hear from them as soon as they've done it. Fingers crossed for you!
