    you do not need to but it might be a good idea in case of an emergency

    Its best to tell the hotel. They may give you/her a safer room.
    So she wont bump into stuff.

    @adrian1  Hi     I've found that some hotels will ask at check-in if a guest would need assistance if an evacuation was required.  It's probably a good idea to volunteer the information "just in case".
