How long does it take to sort out back pay?

I have attended tribunal and had my pip decision overturned, I had a dwp attend. He chose not to ask me any questions. My question is how long is it taking to sort back pay out. Myself and pip received the decision on the 13/02.

Hi @smokeyjoey
Some people on the community have it sorted in weeks, others it seems to take a lot longer.
@CockneyRebel or @mikehughescq can you help?

Usually DWP take 5-8 weeks to put an award into payment.
It is a good Idea to ring the DWP to make sure that they have received the decision

Yes they have received it, and been looking at it since the 13th,

I received my arrears after three weeks and others have said it took about the same for them. But it can take longer.

Just wanted to update, still no letter or payment, however when I rang few days ago they said id here within the week, he also asked a few questions and noted on form, is bank details same, any hospital visits etc, why was this?

They are just checking for elegability for bakpay. If you had been in hospital or prison for 28 days or more part may not be payable
