Chronic pain

Hi all, I have lived with chronic pain for over 20 years - trigeminal neuralgia. I had balloon compression twice, which only worked short -term. I have now developed occipital neuralgia, which although painful I am able to function with it better than the TN.

Hello @Carrie1 and welcome to the community. Very glad to have you with us, very sorry to hear you have had so much pain.
You 'll find a wide variety of things here on the site, and a place for you to start might be Neurological Conditions
https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/neurological-conditions or, perhaps, Dealing with Chronic Pain
https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/chronicpain
Crucially, you have found a safe place here and are among friends, so please don't be shy of telling us more about yourself or of asking any questions. The better we get to know each other, the easier we may find ways to be of use to you.
Warmest best wishes to you,
Richard1 -
