Hi there, I am new here as well. My name is Tracy and my youngest is autistic. I have had a bit of a bumpy ride with my son as he can not attend mainstream school and I have to home school him, which is difficult as he can not do even a fraction of the work of other children his age. Which means I have difficulty with the education authority often as I have to tick the right boxes which he will never be able to do, hospital appoinments, well he was born with a liver condition and also has gilberts syndrome. It is difficult, but I do have a few things I take with me to make it easier. I laminate favourite colouring book pages and take baby wipes and pens with me that and a couple of small toys that fit in to my bag. What kind of things do you do to make it easier?
