My sons on DLA. I'm trying to get Esa for him. My local job centre is saying he has to claim universal credit.. They say he can't claim universal credit on DLA ... What do I do please??

DLA isn't part of Universal Credit and won't affect a claim at all. If his area is a full Universal Credit area then yes he will have to claim this and not ESA. Check his area by popping his post code into this.

If the area is a full UC area then he can apply online. UC has replaced all the means tested benefits like ESA, JSA, IS, tax credits and housing benefit. PIP and DLA isn't part of it.
