Hi I have fibromyalgia and menopause to add to it and I want to claim pip can anyone advise please

Hi,PIP isn't awarded based on a diagnosis, it's how those conditions affect you daily. However, i've never heard of anyone claiming PIP for how the menopause affects you. If people did this then most women going through it would be claiming it.There's a PIP self test online that you can complete, it's just a guide and evidence will be needed to support a claim because they very rarely contact anyone for evidence.See this guide that goes into more detail about the PIP descriptors, they don't apply to everyone.You'll need to ring the PIP helpline to start a claim.
