I have COPD emphasema and need a lung transplant I have also been diagnosed with stage 4gold osteoporosis due to long-term steroid use because of COPD.
I also have arthritis in my hands.
I was on pip and and had money stopped due to a miscommunication I appealed through solicitors and got reinstated but I have asked for an increase from standard rate mobility to enhanced rate due to mobility problems and have been waiting for 8 weeks now just get a letter every two weeks stating it will get sorted soon.
My initial change of circumstances was last year June when I got siagdiagn with osteoporosis will I be entitled to get my increase backdated and am I entitled to any other benefit or help as I struggle with what I am recieving.
On top of all this the council have demanded a back payment towards care costs for the last two years of over 1200 pounds along with a 11pound per week contribution which I can't afford.
Please can you help and advise me .
Thankyou for your time and assistance.

Hello @raja007 Pleased to meet you welcome.
Thank you for sharing. Sorry what has happened.
Please can I suggest have a look at our benefit information. Lots of advice and from our community members useful knowledge. Always worth a look. Very helpful.
May I also suggest contact CAB for benefit advice, information. Look on their web site lots of advice and what you may be entitled to.
I know I have used it myself.. Understanding the complex and confusion of benefits is never easy.
We are a supportive friendly community.
Ask the community anything some one will know .
Please take care
