At the assessment do they expect you to perform exercises? If so what happens if you refuse because it would put you in pain?

    Yes they do, if you're claiming for a physical disability. If you can't do something they ask you to do because it causes pain then you should tell them you can't and it and your reasons why. 
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
    If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
