lol i got a bad gatewway message come up , then low and behold it had posted after all ......sighi joined after seeing the disability Gamechanger link , I didn't know aout how useful the site could be , I just had to go for my assesment for PIP and am dreading the outcome , just had the letter saying they have all the info and will be in touh soon etc , I am sure they will refuse me and I will have to appeal and it is tying me in knots already , silly I know when it could be a month or more but stuff like this makes me fret so much and over think even when I try not to let it , so I am so pleased to find all the useful advice in the forum, it has helped a little and now knowing I will have all the people here to support and advise me makes it less dauntingJust so sick of being made to feel like I am doing something wrong or am trying to claim what I am not entitled to , lol why I am explaining when you all have faced this or worse but i think finding people that know its almost a release to spill it out0

Benefits are the most stressful thing going, I was really lucky with PIP as they gave me a decision within 2 weeks, enhanced rate for both daily living and mobility. Sadly there is a majority of people get refused or don't receive what they should be entitled to. Hundreds, probably thousands or more members of the community have had to go through the appeal process. I know it's easier said than done but please try not to worry too much. You have come to the right place We will be with you every step of the way!1

Hello @Seawitch Pleasure to meet you. Sorry what has happened as you are getting anxious towards thinking about your assessment. The outcome.
You need reassurance . That you are getting guilty about the whole thing. Made to feel not worthy and this is all upsetting.
I understand all this having been through it all.
Remember you need the help. Ask for it you have done nothing wrong.
All I can is we as a community are here to give you support.
Anything we can advise, want some one to listen. Always here as many of the community.
We share and care.
Anytime.
Hope that helps . You have joined the community. You are one of us as we hope to support every body who needs it.

something worth celebrating there ?
its such a relief, isn’t it? I got turned down for PIP but just got ESA Support Group after applying 13 months ago. Hooray for every victory, little or large!0 -
