I am Roddy and have suffered with ME/CFS for several years, also depression and anxiety.
My partner David has Vascular Dementia,no mobility and a host of other ailments, and I am his full time carer plus I now have to look after our business commitments ,something I never had to do before.
How I do what I do is a mystery as I am always totally exhausted, its almost like I get a second wind to keep on going.
I used to be very outgoing, but now I have no social life, and indeed on the rare occasions I do go out I am now a blithering wreck and nervous as hell, and it starts off an unpleasant pattern of sweating, and the more I think about it the worse it becomes.
I also find comfort in over eating and that causes the weight to creep on,and I hate it as I was always so thin.
Life is not easy, but there are others who are in the same situation as me,and its tough.
