I about to get third injection in my legs to help reduce spacicty.  I am being treated for Secondery Progressive MS. Neurologist made referral to Neurology Rehab and, after pills alone, injections were commenced.  I've had a reall good response but you are aware when your third month is ending.

I think I must try them again: nothing else has worked.

cmci, are we limited to just three, or is it only that we can have them every three months?

I'm not aware of a 'number' of injections - nobody has ever mentioned that.  My third injection is October at hospital - rehab Consultant administers.

After about 48I don't seem to get violent spacitcty and less frequent then none that I notice getting out or getting into bed. About a week to my next appointment the frequency is more prominent.  I get an injection in each calf of leg and one in left thigh - left leg is my worst.

Do you get temporarily worse after the shot? When I had mine, I did, for a couple of weeks.

Given your experience, I will give it a good try.

My son has botox every 12 weeks into his jaw.  The brain haemhorrage left his jaw muscles very tight and found it hard to open mouth and chew.  Been having botox for approx 2 yrs now, has made a huge difference to his life.

Thank you, everyone, this is most encouraging and informative. My neck muscles are so tight that I often cannot move my head, they are often very painful. I have tried everything else.

I am glad to hear that youngsters are helped, too.

    Best to everyone here.
