If they still say it's the wrong number i'm wondering is your area a full Universal credit area? If it is then you may have problems claiming the Income related top up on your existing ESA claim because they will tell you to claim UC. Check what's in your area here. http://ucpostcode.entitledto.co.uk/ucdateLet me know what it says once you popped your postcode in into the link and i'll help you further, if needed.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Many thanks to poppy123456 and thespiceman for all your help and advice. I have managed to find a letter on the internet from the special review board set up for the esa support for disabled people who haven't claimed the enhanced top up as well which the government are trying to sort out at the moment. The people at the end of the line deal specify with these cases and was most helpful . The number is 08001690348 .Hope this helps lots of people.
