good afternoon all,
looking for help please ?
was told 2 weeks before Christmas that my esa was stopping even though it wasn’t meant to stop until 30th December 2018
had the work assessment and they found me fit for work????
i have osteoarthritis, herniated disc in lower spine and severe depression. I also have a 2 year old daughter.
i did the mandatory reconsideration and they changed me to the wrag group of esa.
Ive been put on universal credit and now they are saying I need another assessment and fill out another form ?
I’m getting so worked up again and can really do without this bloody nonsense.

Hi,They should honour that decision and place you into the relevant group for UC which is LCW. You need to put a note on your journal to ask them to contact ESA because you were placed into the WRAG after the MR decision.

Thankyou so much
i have left a note on my journal today. I’m going to ring them also!
its an absolute minefield ? -
You're welcome. Yes, indeed it is. When was the decision made for the MR?

Hi poppy
just spoke to a guy in uc. He said they haven’t had paperwork from esa and I’ve got to take the mandatory reconsideration letter into my job centre in the morning.
My account should then be sorted! -
Glad you're getting it sorted. It can usually take a while for ESA to send paper work across. Strange really because it's all part of DWP.
-
Especially with the technology today ?

I think you are being misled:I think your next move should be an appeal re the ESA and not jump straight into UC.See the following link, may be applicable to your case.
