Good afternoon. My partner was told by his friend about getting just under £5000 in back pay from something called ESA3 IBR. I have tried to find information about it on line. Could anyone please help me with what ESA3 IBR is ??? Tia x

The DWP are currently contacting everyone who where effected by there initiall probs.
These forms are called “ESA3”

Hi,The underpayments concern those that transferred from Incapacity benefit to ESA many years ago. These people were automatically placed onto Contributions based ESA and weren't assessed for any income related top up. If you were one of those that transferred across then DWP will eventually contact you, there's no need to contact them. Information in the link.
