Esa/universal credit

in Universal Credit (UC)
hi all,i will soon be going for a Esa assessment,so if i get any payments fromEsa will they basically award me Esa then take off the same amount from universal credit, payment ?  ,

    Hi,

    If you're claiming Contributions based ESA or New style ESA and UC then your ESA will be deducted £1 for £1 from your UC payments and this should already be happening now.
