i applied for a mandatory reconsideration for the LCWRA element of universal credit on 5th jan. I wrote in my online journal today to enquire about it. Anyhow the advisor responded and said if a decision hasnt been recieved today (which it hasn't) she will refer it to escalation. does anyone know what it means? Thanks xxx

It means they will ask for a case manager to look at it it urgently. There's no time scales for MR decisions, it can take anything from 2-8 weeks, sometimes longer.
