Has anyone recently got an unexpected questionnaire from esa , (asking for a family member) they are in the support group. But reason I ask is that people that where on incapacity benefit when it changed to esa maybe entitled to a refund as they weren’t getting the right money. Do you think that’s what this questionnaire is about?

That depends on the questionaireIs it an ESA3 ?0

Not sure but it’s about capability to work, and this person is not fit for work.0

As it's a work capability assessment form then this will need to be filled in and returned no later than the date stated on the letter. Evidence should be sent with the form to support the claim. This is a review of their ESA and a face to face assessment is most likely because most people have them. For the Incapacity benefit to ESA then a different form is sent for that called ESA3.1
